XEROX WIDE FORMAT 721P PRINTER OPERATOR MANUAL

User Mode 5 (Media Cut At Power ON) “U5”

You can enable an Initial Media Cut at Printer Power On. If this
feature is enabled, the printer will feed and cut 240mm of all roll
media when you switch on the machine.

1. Press the [Menu] Key 5 times when the printer is in the

Standby mode.

The [Menu] Key lights green and the Status Display indicates “U5”
flashing in the left side of the display. The current setting (0 or 1)
is displayed on the right side.

Press [Enter].
2. To change the value, press [ --> ] Key to increase) and [ <-- ]

Key to decrease then press [Enter] to save the data.

Selectable values are “0” and “1”.
0 is NO initial cut at Power On
1 is an initial cut will be made when the printer is turned On.

NOTE: Factory default is “0”, Off.

3. Press the [Online] Key to exit the User Mode.
