TTL:
The TTL can be entered in the range 1-255. The default setting is 1.

• TTL (Time To Live) If IP packets (i.e. data) fail to be delivered to their destination within a
reasonable length of time (which could be for various reasons), this setting tells network
routers when to discard the packet.
• The value is usually measured in 'hops', i.e. the number of network routers that can be
passed before the packet arrives at its destination or is dropped.
