The value failed to
change. Try again.

The setting you are
changing can only
be changed when
the system is in
Standby mode.
Put the system in
Standby mode, change
the setting, then return
the system to
Operating mode.

System clock not
set. Set correct
time.

On initial startup,
the clock needs to be
set. The system will
not operate correctly
until it is.
Set the clock to the
correct time. See
“Using the Clock
Menu” on page 21.

A device is lost.
Check connection.

The SCP has lost
communications
with another device
on the network.
Check network
connection between
the SCP and the
device.
W257
New device
detected.
Check device
settings.
Manual
You have connected
a new device to the
network or
reconnected a
disconnected
device.
Acknowledge the
message and check
that the device is
properly configured.

Device instance
is duplicated.
Manual
Two networked
devices of the same
type have the same
instance.
Select a different
instance ID on one of
the devices’ Setup
menu.
