quences.

2.16  Taking delivery of the machine.

On receipt of the machine, check the delivery
contains everything listed on the delivery note.
The data on the machine plate (see front of con-
trol cabinet) must match the details on the cover
of these operating instructions. Please check
whether any of the delivery items are damaged.
We must be notified of any damage in writing
within 8 days of delivery.

Any packaging of the delivery items is used sole-
ly to prevent damage in transit.. The packaging
material is environmentally friendly and we are
happy to accept it back for recycling.

2.17 Registration

Registration of the machine takes place on de-
livery from X-Floc. Therefore registration of ma-
chines shipped directly from X-Floc GmbH is not
necessary.

When purchasing used machines, or when pur-
chasing machines not directly from the manufac-
turer, the owner must send their address along
with the data on the machine plate to the manu-
facturer or delegate within four weeks.

2.18 General

Safety information: All cleaning and
installation work including machine
transport should only be carried out

when the power plug is disconnected. Non-
observance may result in considerable danger
through inadvertent start-up of the machine or
other hazards.

2.18.1 Installation

site

The central processing unit casing contains vari-
ous electrical units, which must not come into
contact with water. Therefore, the machine must
only be positioned on dry ground when switched
off aswell as when in operation.

Since the machine sucks in air, there must be a
sufficient air supply at the installation site. If the
air supply is insufficient, the airlock outlet pres-
sure will drop and the flow rate will be affected.
In an extreme case, the air feed blower can
overheat which can lead to faults and damage.
The machine must therefore not be used in a
closed room where a sufficient air flow cannot be
ensured.

The air flow can also be affected if the air filters
have not been properly cleaned, or if the clear
section of the intake area is obstructed.

2.19  Machine field of application

The machine is designed for use on construction
sites. For faultless and safe operation, the general
guidelines must be observed.

The air is conveyed by a radial compressor. These
fans must only be operated with air from the imme-
diate environment that is not mixed or polluted with
dust, solvents or other materials.

For safe and failure-free operation, the recom-
mended operating temperatures must be observed.
The recommended operating temperature range
can be found in the chapter

'Technical Data'

2.19.1 Foreign

objects

The agitator and the airlock rotor are in motion
when the machine is running. Objects which are not
part of the machine can therefore cause damage to
the airlock, washers and other components. On
account of this, it is especially important to ensure
that the processing material is not contaminated
with foreign objects, e.g. nails, screws or stones.

Large foreign objects which get into the machine
through the hopper top piece pose additional dan-
gers in the workplace. Foreign objects could, in an
extreme case, get jammed in the machine and sub-
sequently be thrown uncontrollably out of the ma-
chine. It is especially important that there are no
wooden slats or similar materials in the hopper top
piece during operation.

Therefore, it should always be ensured that there
are no unwanted foreign objects in the hopper top
piece both before and during use.

2.20 Electrical connection

The machine must be connected with a
grounding socket to 230V / 50Hz, alternating
voltage. That is, the socket connection must

conform to the relevant rules and regulations and
the grounding must be included in the earthing
safety function. The mains voltage and the mains
frequency must correspond to the data on the name
plate.

5 % voltage- or frequency variation is per-

mitted, and will not cause damage.

The power cable must not be must not be on
the cable reel during operation. It must be
fully unwound to protect against damage

through overheating.

2.20.1 Earthing

The machine must be earthed with the power ca-
ble's equipment grounding conductor.

2.21 Airlock ventilation.

Airlock ventilation is an innovation in loose insula-
tion material processing technology. By balancing
pressure, dust production is reduced and material
processing speed increased.
