1.2 Responsibility of personnel
All personnel working with the machine are
obliged, before beginning work to
observe the basic workplace safety and acci-
dent prevention regulations
have read the chapter on hazards and safety
information in these operating instructions,
and have confirmed by signing their name
that they have understood this information.
1.3 Dangers associated with machi-
ne operation
The M99 minifant insulation-blowing
machine
is
manufactured in accordance with the latest
technical standards and safety rules. However,
use of the machine can still result in danger to
life and limb of the user or of third parties, and
can potentially cause damage to property. The
machine should only be used
for its intended use
in a technically safe and faultless condition.
Faults which may affect safety must be rectified
immediately.
1.4 Intended
use
The Minifant M99 insulation-blowing
machine
should be used solely for the processing of certi-
fied fibre insulation materials by briefed qualified
tradesmen. The processing material must com-
ply with the following minimum standards:
The insulation material must be certified and
have a certification number, and the filling
date must be clearly marked on the packag-
ing.
The manufacturing must be externally moni-
tored.
The packing density must be less than 135
kg/m
3
The moisture content must be less than 15%
(based on mass)
Please note that different machine models have
different features. Any other use, or any use
going beyond that intended is only regarded as
use for the intended purpose with the approval of
the manufacturer.
For damages resulting from improper use,
X-Floc GmbH
accepts no responsibility.
Intended use also covers
observance of all of the information found in
the operating instructions and
compliance with the recommended inspection
and maintenance work.
1.5 Warranty and liability
Our general terms and conditions of trade apply.
These will be made available to the operator by the
time the contract is signed at the latest. Warranty
and liability claims relating to personal injury and
damage to plant and property are excluded if they
can be attributed to one or more of the following
causes:
Use of the machine for other than its intended
purpose.
Improper installation, commissioning, operation
and maintenance of the machine.
Operation of the machine with defective safety
devices or with safety and protective devices
that are not properly fitted, or are not fully func-
tional.
Non-observance of the instructions and infor-
mation in the operating instructions with regard
to transport, storage, installation, commission-
ing, operation, maintenance and preparation of
the machine.
Unauthorised constructional modifications to the
machine.
Unauthorised changes to the machine (e.g.
drive ratios: power and speed).
Inadequate monitoring of machine parts that are
subject to wear.
Incorrectly carried out repairs.
Effects of foreign bodies and force majeure.
