The Extender boom should be unfolded into the field po

-

sition. The Extender boom is equipped with over-center

breakaways that are cushioned with poly springs. Rotate

the Extender boom wings to the field position. As the wing is

rotated, the poly springs will compress causing resistance.

This is normal and expected.

Flip the control valves on, engage the pump and allow water

to flow through the boom. Disengage the pump when the

boom is flushed.

Install the nozzles and tip screens on the nozzle bodies.

Push the tip in the cap, place the gasket on top of the tip,

add the tip strainer. Turn the cap clockwise ¼ turn to lock

the cap onto the nozzle body.

The Extender boom is divided into three sections (center

nozzles and each Boom Buster nozzle). The LCS sprayer

will usually be equipped with a handgun as well. The Hypro

manual control has three valves that controls the Extender

boom. An attached ball valve controls the handgun.

The LCS sprayer may also be equipped with an electric

control valve that can be operated from the tractor cab. A

variety of electric control systems are available. A typical

system will include solenoid valves, a pressure adjustment
