Replacing the saw blade (fig. V/
fig. VI)

Switch the machine off.
■
Pull the mains plug.
■
Release the wing bolt

■
Turn the small cover
[2]
back.
■
Lift up the vibration damper
[3]
and lock it
through lateral turning.
■
Press in the spindle lock
[4]
.
■
Release the screw with the Allen key.
■
Swing the mobile saw blade protection upwards.
■
Remove the saw blade carefully.
■
Push the new blade carefully onto the axle shaft.
When doing so, make sure the displayed turning
direction on the saw blade is in an anti-clockwise
direction. The saw blade must rotate in the direc
-
tion indicated by the arrow on the protective
cover. Make sure the saw blade is free of grease.
■
Put in the external flange and the screw and
tighten them.
■
Turn the small cover

into the basic position.
■
Tighten the wing bolt
[1]
.
■
Set the vibration damper
[3]
in the basic position
by turning.
■
Release the spindle lock
[4]
and check whether
the saw blade can rotate freely.
Lubricating the saw blade guideways
■
Regularly spray the points at which the saw
blade comes into contact with the saw blade
guideways with lubricating oil spray.
Replacing the vibration damper
(fig. V)

If the vibration damper

has worn down to 1
mm, replace it.
Replacing carbon brushes
(fig. VII a+b)
If the carbon brushes
[2]
have been ground down
to approx. 6 mm, or sparks are forming, you need to
replace them. When doing so, always replace both
carbon brushes at the same time.
■
Pull the mains plug.
■
Remove the cover
[1]

■
Remove the worn down carbon brushes.
■
Insert the new carbon brushes and close the
cover once more.
Transport (fig. X)
■
Keep the locking bolts
[1]
pulled outwards.
■
Lower the handle to the lowest position.
■
Let the locking bolts snap in.
