The following hazard levels are used in these oper

ating instructions to indicate potentially hazardous
situations and important safety rules:

The hazardous situation is about to
occur and will lead to severe injuries
or even death if the measures are
not observed. Observe the measure
without fail.
WARNING!
The hazardous situation could occur
and will lead to severe injuries and
even death if the measures are not
observed. Work with extreme care.
CAUTION!
The hazardous situation could occur
and will lead to slight or minor
injuries if the measures are not
observed.
Attention!
A possibly harmful situation could occur and will
lead to property damage if not avoided.

Self and personnel protection
■
Persons less than 18 years old must not use the
device. Excepted from this are young persons
of 16 and over who are working under
supervision within the scope of their vocational
training.

Always remain alert and take the utmost care
when working.
■
Do not use the device if you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medicines.

One moment of inattention can result in

Do not work with the device without having
been instructed in its use.

Always wear safety glasses and ear defenders.
Wear stout shoes and a safety helmet.

The wearing of personal protective equipment,
such as

ear defenders, reduces the risk of injury.

Never point the device towards any part of
your body, towards yourself or towards other
persons.

Ensure that you can always maintain a safe
standing position and maintain your balance
at all times.
Safety in the workplace

Do not operate the tool in areas where there is
a risk of explosion.

Keep the device out of the reach of children
and never leave it unattended. When not in
use, keep the device in a safe place out of the
reach of unauthorised persons.
General safety instructions

Always visually check the device for damage
before initial use and after transport. Ensure
