5.3 Cleaning the PurCon
5.3.1 Housing
Wipe the PurCon with a damp cloth.
If necessary, neutral soap can be used for cleaning.
Caution
Do not clean the PurCon with water jet or steam jet.
5.3.2 Sample preparation
Caution
Only qualified specialist personnel are allowed to perform cleaning
activities.
If the analyzers do not obtain sufficient permeate, they generate a cor-
responding error message. In this case, the inside of the PurCon has
to be cleaned. It is cleaned chemically by the effect of 1 % sodium
hypochlorite solution. The cleaning solution can be produced from var-
ious detergent concentrates by dilution. A selection of possible deter-
gent concentrates are given in the chapter 8 A
