Conductivity
The electrodes in the vacuum dosage vessel serve to recognize the fill-
ing level in the vacuum dosage vessel. As soon as the medium reaches
the electrodes the suction pump is switched off.
You can adjust the sensitivity of the electrodes.
The standard setting is 288, which corresponds to somewhat more
than 50 µS/cm. This setting is suitable for the recognition of aqueous
samples.
The sensitivity of the conductivity electrodes is a value without dimen-
sion.
Note
If the sensitivity is too low the tubing system may be flooded.
If the sensitivity is too high this may cause a permanent signal and
prevent sampling.
