Troubleshooting
1. Pump up failure and insufficient pumping.
Lack of priming
liquid.
(Dry running)
Add priming
liquid.
Exhaust air
inside of the
pump.
Unable to pump or insufficient pumping.
Unable to pump even after adding
piming liquid.
Unable to pump even after opening
the discharge valve.
Insufficient discharge volume.
Resistance in
the discharge
pipe.
Foreign objects
in the foot valve
or suction pipe.
Clean the
suction pipe.
Air enters from
the suction pipe
or connection.
Remove foreign
objects from
the discharge
pipe and
inspect the
damage of the
piping.
Check the
connection.
Check the
liquid level of
the tank.
Magnet is
loosing.
Check whether
foreign objects
stay inside.
Check whether
it is
overloading.
Motor rotates
in reverse.
Replace the
motor wiring.
Air in the suction
pipe.
Check to install
the piping.
2. Motor overheats.
Motor overheats.
Overheat.
Chec that the S.G. and viscosity are the same as the
specification.
Check that the voltage & frequency are the same as the
specification.
Peripheral temperature is high.
Keep motor well ventilated.
3. Pump vibrates.
Replace the
parts.
Precarious
place.
Re-install.
Looseness of
the fix bolts.
Tighten the
bolts more.
Motor shaft
worn.
Replace the
motor or the
bearing.
Pump vibrates.
Pump shaft
damage.
Replace the
parts.
Contact with
the impeller and
stationary parts.
Replace the
parts.
Foreign objects
in the suction
pipe.
(Cavitation)
Remove and
clean them up.
Bearing worn.
