13. IMAGES AND VIDEO

13

Images and Video

WORKSWELL WIRIS Agro allows the user to capture and record several image and video formats. The user is
advised to save only the desired formats, since each image or video format have performance and memory
requirements that add up.

Each image is tagged with Exif metadata including source, date, me and GPS coordinates (if available).

Following formats are supported:

Images

• CWSI JPEG

• CWSI TIFF

• Screenshot JPEG

• Visible JPEG

video

• CWSI

• CWSI ENCODED

• Visible

Images can be saved directly to connected memory (Flash Drive or SD Card). Video can be recorded only to the
internal SSD memory due to high memory speed requirements.

13.1 Images

All the images can be opened in standard image viewers. Images named as CWSI contain addi onal informa on
and can be further edited in CorePlayer or Thermolab so ware.

13.1.1 CWSI JPEG

Plain JPEG image from CWSI camera without any overlays, containing addi onal temperature informa ons.

13.1.2 CWSI TIFF

TIFF image in 16bit gray-scale, where each pixel represents measured CWSI index. It can be opened in standard
image viewer, but the contrast is not adjusted.

TIFF image is meant as opened format for user developed applica ons. It can be also used with third party
so ware Pix4D.

The CWSI value can be calculated with the following formula:
