GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. MAKE YOURSELF FAMILIAR WITH THE MACHINE.
Read and follow the instructions in the operating manual and on the labels fixed
to the machine. You should know the information about use and performance
capability and be familiar with the special characteristics of the machine.
2. GROUNDING OF THE MACHINE
The machine is equipped with a 4-pole electrical cord. It should only be plugged
into a grounded outlet. Only connect the green-yellow wire to a grounded-wire
connection (PE)!
3. USE THE SAFETY DEVICES THAT CORRESPOND WITH REGULATIONS AND THE
FUNCTION.
4. REMOVE TOOLS AND KEYS
Make sure that tools and keys that you use for the adjustment of the machine are
not on the machine.
5. KEEP THE WORKPLACE CLEAN
Untidy workplaces are often the cause of accidents. The floor should not be slippery
as a result of moisture or wood dust.
6. AVOID DANGEROUS SURROUNDINGS
Do not use electrical power tools in damp or wet rooms, or in the rain. Make sure that
there is adequate lighting and enough room.
7. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY
Onlookers and children should maintain an adequate safety distance.
8. MAKE YOUR WORKSHOP CHILDPROOF
with child safety locks, master switches, or through the removal of start-upkeys.
9. ALWAYS USE THE RIGHT TOOL
Do not use any tool for work for which it was not made.
10. WEAR SAFE WORK CLOTHES
Do not wear any loose clothing, gloves, scarves or jewelry. These things canbe
caught up in moving machine parts. Non-slip footwear is alsorecommended. Also
wear suitable headgear to protect your hair. Roll long sleeves up above the elbows.
11. WEAR PROTECTIVE GLASSES
Always wear protective glasses. Also wear a dust mask when performing dust-
intensive work and wear hearing protection in the course of lengthy noisy work.
