PROBLEM

PROBABLE CAUSE

REMEDY

Motor will not start and fuses or 

circuit breakers blow.

1.Short circuit in motor or power cord.

2.Incorrect fuses or circuit breakers.

•Take to a qualified service technician.

•Replace with correct fuse or circuit breaker 

for the circuit.

Motor fails to reach full power.

1.Overloaded circuit.

2.Improper extension cord.

•Turn off other machines and retry.

•Replace with proper size extension cord.

Motor stalls.

1.Short circuit in motor.

2.Incorrect fuses or circuit breakers.

3.Overloaded circuit.

4.Low voltage.
