Move the carriage so that the front end of the tool is positioned above the bed rail. Measure the
distance from the bed rail to the bottom edge of the tool.

Move the carriage so that the back end of the tool is positioned above the bed rail. Measure the
distance from the bed rail to the bottom edge of the tool.

If the measurement from the tool to the bed rail is not equal within 1/32" (.75 mm), adjust the ver-
tical tilt of the outer blade guide roller.

Loosen one set screw at the side of the blade guide assembly.
See Figure 5-22.
Loosen the jam nuts on the top and bottom vertical tilt adjustment screws. To
tilt the roller up, loosen the bottom screw and tighten top screw. To tilt the roller down, loosen the
top screw and tighten the bottom screw. Tighten the jam nuts and recheck the tilt of the blade.
7.
Move the blade guide alignment tool close to the inner blade guide roller assembly and repeat
the above steps. Adjust the vertical tilt of the inner blade guide if necessary.
8.
After adjusting the vertical tilt of the blade guides, recheck the blade deflection and adjust if nec-
essary.
