Make sure all safety warning decals are readable. Remove sawdust and dirt. Replace any dam-
aged or unreadable decals immediately. Order decals from your Customer Service Representa-
tive.

Blade Wheel Belts
WARNING!
Before performing service near moving parts such as blades, pul-
leys, motors, belts and chains, first turn the key switch to the OFF (#0) position
and remove the key. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury or death.
Rotate the blade wheel belts and check them for wear. Rotating the belts every 50 hours will pro-
vide longer belt life. Replace belts as necessary. Use only B57 belts supplied by Wood-Mizer.

Drive Belt Adjustment
WARNING!
Disconnect and lockout power before performing any service to
the electrical system. For battery-powered equipment, disconnect the negative
battery terminal cable.Failure to follow this may result in injury and/or electrical
system damage.

Do not adjust the engine drive belts or belt support bracket with
the engine running. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury or death.

See the table below for drive belt tension specifications for your model sawmill.
Measure the belt tension with a gauge.
NOTE:
Wood-Mizer offers a belt tension gauge (Part No.
016309) that will let you accurately measure the belt tension.
