Up/Down Operation

Install a blade, if needed, and check for correct blade tension.
(
See Section 3.3
).
Set the cutting head to the desired height. (The blade height scale shows the height of the blade
above the bed rails.)
See Figure 3-11.
Use the up and down buttons shown below to raise or lower the cutting head.
CAUTION!
DO NOT try to force the carriage above the 27" (68 cm) mark
or below the 1" (2.54 cm) mark. Damage to the up/down system may result.
