Remove the Burner Valve

Remove the black wire from the normally-open (NO)
terminal.

Remove the red wire from the common (C) terminal.

Use a

16
” combination wrench to remove the simmer
burner tube.

Use a
1
/
2
” combination wrench to remove the main burner
tube.

Use a
1
/
4
” combination wrench to remove the manifold
screw.
TIP: If removing the gas tubes from the valve is difficult, remove
the gas tubes from the orifice holder, then remove the gas tube
from the valve.
CAUTION
Do not lift the manifold to remove the tube fittings.
Gas tubes provide support to the manifold.
Deforming the gas tube may cause knob alignment
issues.
BURNER VALVE INSTALLATION
Install the Burner Valve

Install the burner valve into the manifold.

Use a

/
4
” combination wrench to install the manifold screw.

Use a
1
/
2
” combination wrench to install the main burner
tube.

Use a
5
/
16
” combination wrench to install the simmer burner
tube.
5
Install the black wire onto the normally-open (NO) terminal.
6
Install the red wire onto the common (C) terminal.
Install the Receptacle

Install the receptacle onto the burner valve.
2
Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the mounting screws
into the receptacle.
Install the Burner Pan
Place the burner pan on the burner box.
Install All Burner Assemblies
To install each burner assembly:

Attach the electrode wire to the igniter.

Place the burner assembly into the burner pan.
3
Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws holding the burner
assembly to the orifice holder, torqued to 24 in lb.
Install All Bezels
To install each bezel:
1
Connect the bezel to the light wire harness.
2
Insert the bezel into the unit.
3
Twist the bezel 90° clockwise.
Install All Knobs
Push each knob onto each valve shaft.
Install the Unit
Install the unit.
Install All Burner Caps
Install all burner caps onto the burner assemblies.
Install All Burner Grates
Place all burner grates onto the cooktop.
