Adjust the target so that it triggers the proximity switch (amber light on proximity switch should
be on).

Carry out tests to see if the Arm Not Stowed switch on the control panel “reacts” properly when
the forks or the arms are not fully retracted.
This switch should be red-lighted if the forks or the arms are not fully retracted.
This switch should be green-lighted if the forks or the arms are fully retracted.

If the Arm Not Stowed switch does not “react” properly, readjust both proximity switches and
their targets.
Body Raised Limit Switch (optional)
Located on the truck chassis, this optional limit switch activates the backup alarm and the in-cab
warning buzzer as soon as the body is about one foot above the chassis. If needed, adjust the limit
switch accordingly. Refer to “Limit Switch Adjustment” on page 47.
This safety feature is provided to warn people around that the truck is unloading and to remind
operator that the body is still raised.
