bEFORE INSTALLATION

Ensure you read out the following instructions before installing the camera:

y

You have to check whether the location (ceiling or wall) can bear five times the weight of your 
camera.

y

y

Don’t let the cable to be caught in improper place or the electric line cover to be damaged. 
Otherwise it may cause a breakdown or fire.

y

y

When installing your camera, don’t allow any person to approach the installation site. 

y

y

Do not disassemble the camera on your own.

y

y

Always be careful when you handle the camera.

y

y

Do not hit the camera with your fist or shake it. Be careful not to damage the camera with careless 
maintenance or misoperation.

y

y

Avoid installing the camera under direct influence of rain or high humidity. Do not operate it in a 
damp area.

y

y

Use a clean, smooth, and dry cloth to wipe off a dirty area on the product surface. Or soak a clean dry 
cloth in water, squeeze it enough to avoid water dripping, and then wipe off the dirty area. 
(Avoid using detergent, cosmetics or oil substances containing alcohol, solvent, and/or surfactant 
since they can cause product damage or deformation.)

Install the camera in a cool area with no direct sunlight.

y

y

If you forcibly install the product, the camera may be damaged due to misoperation. 
If you forcibly assemble the product using an incompatible tool, the product may be damaged.

y

y

Do not install the product in an area where chemical substances or oil vapors are likely to occur. 
Do not install the product near kitchen or cooking table since edible oil substances (e.g. soybean oil) 
can also cause product damage and deformation. They really can be the cause of product damage.

y

y

When installing the product, make sure not to leave any chemical substance on the product surface. 
Some chemical solvents, such as detergents and adhesives, can cause critical damage on the product 
surface.

y

Installing and using the product under water can cause a severe malfunction to the product.

y

y

Leaving the product in direct sunlight might cause a problem.

y

y

The normal working of product features and performance are not guaranteed if the product is 
installed/disassembled in the manner not recommended by us.
