Recording options include:

Pink: Alarm, Motion and Normal Video and Audio Recording (Default setting)

To navigate and operate this menu:

Press these buttons on the front panel of the DVR or remote control to change the focus recording type.
Alternatively use the mouse to select the focus recording type.
• Numeric 1-6
Press these buttons on the front panel of the DVR or the remote control to select one of the Recording
modes listed above. Or press the enteR button on the front panel of the DVR or remote control when the
focus is on the appropriate Recording Mode to activate it. Alternatively use the mouse to select the
appropriate Recording Mode.
• +/-
Press these buttons to set the focus interval in increments of one hour (one grid for each hour) to the active
Recording Mode. Or press the enteR button on the front panel of the DVR or remote control set the focus
interval to the active Recording Mode. Alternatively use the mouse to left-click and then drag the mouse
to select the appropriate grids.
• ESC
Press the eSc button on the front panel of the DVR or remote control to escape from this menu and return
to the Scheduled Record Setup display menu. Alternatively use the mouse to exit the sub menu by clicking
on the “X.” Once Easy Setup is complete, the time segments for each conditional in Scheduled Record will
be updated accordingly.
6.6 hDD SetuP
In surveillance applications, typically alarm triggered video and audio is considered more important than
non-event normal video and audio recording. This DVR is designed to allow the hard drive to be partitioned
into an alarm partition and a normal partition. Alarm video and audio will be recorded in alarm partition
and normal video and audio will be recorded in the normal partition.
hDD Setup allows the administrator to format/clear the hard drive, set Alarm Record partition size and Normal
Record partition size, and define the behavior for Alarm Record and Normal Record partition if the hard drive
becomes full. Any connected external ESATA drives can also be configured using this menu.
The following ESATA drives have been tested and verified to function with the 300 Series DVR:

In the Setup Menu display, press ▲▼◄► on the front panel of the DVR or on the remote to change the
highlighted option to HDD, and then press ENTER to display hDD Setup as shown.
