DISASSEMBLY 
PROCEDURES

Remove from Service

Be aware of the following:

•

Follow all plant safety rules and procedures.

•

Isolate and vent the process before removing the 2160 from service.

•

Whenever you remove the 2160, visually inspect the o-rings (if used). 
Replace the o-rings if they show any signs of damage, such as nicks or 
cuts. If they are not damaged, re-use them.

The flanged 2160 is attached to the process connection by bolts. Remove the 
bolts and separate the switch from the process connection. Leave the process 
connection in place and ready for re-installation.

The threaded 2160 is attached to the process by a single hex nut process 
connection. Loosen the hex nut to separate the switch from the process 
connection. Leave the process connection in place and ready for 
re-installation.

Remove Terminal Block

Wireless PlantWeb Housing

Remove the battery pack. Loosen the two small screws and pull the entire 
terminal block out.
