Selects the character set to be used until the printer is initialized, reset, or powered off. Look in
“Appendix B: Resident Character Sets” in the

User Guide

for the character sets. The alphanumeric

characters (0x20-0x7F) are the same for each set.
There are two codes for this command (see select international character set, 1B 74

). Both codes

perform the same function.
