Clean the cassettes. Check all function parts for damage, ease of
movement and play.
•
Turn off the CMD-V4.
•
Remove the stacker, possibly with the horizontal output transport, and the
dispensing units.
•
Check that the belts are correctly positioned on the guiding rolls.
•
Clean the SAT and the dispensing units using a brush.
•
Clean all photosensors/prisms and transport rollers in the dispensing units
and the stacker with compressed air.
•
Function testing is carried out by the system software. (You will find further
information in the software documentation.)
After maintenance, clear the parameters in the CMD controller’s CMOS. Then
the CMD has to be initialized and reference values have to be calculated for all
note types (See the "Initializing the CMD-V4" section in the "Start-up" chapter.
Then, using a test program or the actual application, you have to run a
dispensing test in which at least five notes have to be dispensed from each
cassette without errors.
