closures and are the first components of the system to unpack (see Figure 5).
Note: These two woofer enclosures are very heavy and when moving or lifting, care
should be taken in order to prevent injury.
Unpacking the Woofer
1. Using tin snips, carefully cut the steel bands around each of the crates.
2. Open the top of each crate and determine the side where the casters are
connected to the bottom of the woofer module.
3. Remove the packing material from between the casters and set the crate up
so that the casters on the woofer are toward the floor.
4. While one person holds the crate, the other person should roll the woofer
enclosure out of the crate. Be very careful not to scratch the module dur-
ing this process.
5. Finally, move the woofer cabinets over to the “Zone of Neutrality” as de-
termined by the Wil-
son Audio Setup Pro-
cedure. If you have
not yet performed this
room analysis, please
refer to Section 2.1 of
this manual. Remind-
er: Place the odd se-
rial numbered woofer
on the LEFT and the
even numbered woof-
er on the RIGHT.
6. Remove the empty
woofer crates from
the room.
