1.8 Important safety rules for the charger

Do not expose the charger to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering will increase the risk
of electric shock.

Do not abuse the cord.
Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power
tool.

Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled
cords increase the risk of electric shock.

Make sure children don't play with the charger.
›
Check the charger, charging cord and plug before charging.
Do not use a damaged char-
ger or charging cord, which may cause a short circuit and electric shock.

Do not disassemble the charger.
Take it to a service center when service or repair is requi-
red. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock, electrocution or fire.

When not in use, remove the charger from the power supply to reduce the risk of elect-
ric shock.
›
To prevent electric shock, do not touch the uninsulated part of the socket.
