7 Storage, cleaning and maintenance
Your tool does not need lubricating oil or other maintenance. Avoid using solvents when
cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of com-
mercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc. Keep tool handles clean, dry and free
of oil or grease.
This tool is equipped with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery. To obtain the longest possible
battery life, the following is recommended:

Store the tool where the temperature is below 26 °C and free of moisture.
›
Store the tool in a 30–50% charged condition.
›
Every six months of storage, fully charge the tool and then use it.
WARNING
: Do not store the tool in an environment with temperatures higher than 40 °C.
WARNING
: To avoid serious personal injury, always unplug the charger before cleaning
or performing any maintenance. Never disassemble the tool. Contact your service dealer/
distributor or
for all repairs.
CAUTION
: To prevent accidental injury, make sure that you carry the product safely
stored.
NOTE
: The battery is not replaceable.
