4.0. Connecting to the Tractor
4.1. General
ATTENTION DANGER:
Do not exceed the max.
authorized axle load of the
tractor.
Always ensure there is
sufficient front-axle load; the
steering capability of the
vehicle must be maintained.
(if needed, put on ballast
weights, see operator’s manual
of tractor).
Always pay attention to:
•
The load on the three point
hitch.
Attach the TERRA SLIT only to:
•
the engine turned off
•
the PTO shaft disengaged
4.2. Ballast
When attaching rear-mounted
equipment, always ensure there
is sufficient front-axle load;
the steering capability of the
vehicle must be maintained.
Always position weights in
accordance with specifications
at the securing points
provided.
When selecting the front
weights, make sure that the
approved axle loads and the
approved total weight including
mounted equipment are not
exceeded.
