3.0. Transport

3.2. Transporting the TERRA SLIT

ATTENTION DANGER:

Be careful when cutting through
the tension straps. There is a
risk of being injured when the
straps are cut.

3.2.1. Transport Using a Forklift

If the TERRA SLIT is still
fastened to the pallet :

•

move the forks into the
shipping frame, (note
direction of approach)

•

carefully raise the shipping
frame,

•

unload the TERRA SLIT from
the carrier vehicle when
balanced,

•

cut through the tension
straps,

•

attach the TERRA SLIT to the
tractor and lift it from the
pallet (See item 4.2.).

3.2.2. Transport Using a Crane

•

Attach ropes or belts to the
ring bolts (A) and the top
hole (B) of the outer
connecting plates.

•

Unload the TERRA SLIT when
it is securely suspended.

NOTE :

Inform the transport company
and Wiedenmann GmbH or the
supplier immediately in writing
about shipping damage or
missing parts.
