4.7.3. How to mount the clamping tool onto the table for other angles
If you want to weld other angles, mount each one stud bolt onto the table. This centering bolt is
then used as turning point.
Check after having rotated the tools whether the planer can drive in well and
does not collide with the clamping tool.
Rotate the tool around this lower bolt until you have adjusted the desired angle; you can read
the angle from the scale.
Screw the tool onto the centering bolt with the hexagon socket nut and fix the tool additionally
with two clamping jaws.
Illustration left table:
Use this drill hole „
1
“ when the clamping
tools are
replaced
, (at adjusting angle of
± 7,5° according to the pipe diameter).
Use this drill hole „
2
“ when the clamping
tools are
not replaced
, (at adjusting
angle up to max. 7,5° according to pipe
diameter).
Read the welding angle from the front
scale when the clamping tools are
not
replaced
(if necessary check the angle
with an angle meter).
Read the welding angle from the rear
scale when the clamping tools are
replaced
(if necessary check the angle
with an angle meter).
