4.11. Pipe jack (optional)
You may compensate pipe ovality by the pipe jacks.
In order to adjust the pipe jack length, first remove the spring plug and afterwards the ring
bolt.
Now pull the inner part (with the drill holes) and the outer part apart until the pipe jack has
the requested length in order that you may insert it properly into the pipe inner diameter.
Secure this length by plugging the ring bolt into the fitting drill holes of outer and inner part
and lock it by the spring plug.
Connect the hydraulic hoses with the free couplings to the basic machine on the left and / or
on the right side.
Afterwards, move the block cylinder out until the pipe jack has the necessary length.
Select level:
6
by <Mode select> and push levers V3…V6 (according to the selected
connector) to:
in order to move the cylinder out / or to:
in order to move the cylinder
back again.
In case you have driven out the pipe jack onto the necessary dimension, you may
disconnect the hydraulic hoses if necessary, both at the hydraulic block and at the
pipe bracket. The pressure is maintained by the corresponding back-pressure
valves.
