START/PAUSE BUTTON
Used to start a selected program or pause during running.
Note: The program knob must be brought to the O(off) position before selecting the
program or changing an existing program.
FUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHTS
When the start/pause button or any function button is pressed, the corresponding light
turns on. The light turns off when the function button or start/pause button is re-pressed,
or when the process or selected function is completed.
The function indicator lights are also used in the failure detection system mentioned in
section 9.
FUNCTION BUTTONS
Rinse Hold
This function is recommended to be used when the clothes cannot be removed
immediately after the end of the program. This will prevent creasing. When this function is
selected, the last rinsing water is not drained. At this point in the program the Rinse Hold
Indicator will flash. To continue the program, press the Start/Pause button. The water will
then be drained and the load spun.
If you do not want your sensitive clothes to be spun, turn the program knob to the O (off)
position. Turn the program knob to the Drain program and press the Start/Pause button.
The machine will then drain the water from the drum.
Extra Rinse
Provides one additional rinse in addition to the rinses which your washing machine
normally performs.
Easy Ironing
By using this function, your clothes will come out less wrinkled after washing.
Note: Depending on which program has been selected, it may be possible to select the
function buttons after the machine has started. If the light comes on when the function
button is pressed then the function will be activated. If the light does not come on then the
additional function will not be activated
