SERVICING THE GEARCASE
1. Remove the outer cabinet.
2. Remove the agitator.
3. Remove the pump and motor assemblies.
4. Carefully lay the washer on its back.
5. Remove the three (3) bolts securing the gearcase
assembly to the tub support.
6. Pull the gearcase straight out of the basket drive tube,
being careful not to damage the drive tube bearing with the splined
end of the agitator shaft.

Servicing the Clutch
1. Remove the gearcase.
2. To service just the clutch lining, compress
the clutch spring with a pair of pliers and lift
the lining from the clutch hub.
