Unplug the range.

Remove the surface element from the terminal block.

Remove the screw from the terminal block you wish to service, unhook it from the cooktop,
and remove it.

), and follow the instructions
contained in the package to install the new terminal block.
TESTING A SURFACE ELEMENT TERMINAL BLOCK
1.
Visually inspect the terminal block for the following defects:
a) Cracked block.
b) Melted block.
c) Internal arcing (carbon buildup around terminals).
d) Burnt or charred wires.
e) Loose connectors.
