Performance Check
Perform the following steps to familiarize yourself with the various functions of the electronic oven
control (see the illustration below).
1.
Set the clock for the Time-Of-Day. To set the clock:
•
Press the CLOCK keypad.

will show on the display.

Use the TIME/TEMP Up (

) and Down (
t
) keypads and enter the correct time.
•
Press the START/ENTER keypad.
2.
Set the electronic oven control to Bake and listen for the Bake relay to energize. To set the
control to Bake:
•
Press the BAKE keypad. The display will indicate
350˚
.
•
Use the TIME/TEMP Up (
s
) and Down (
t
) keypads and change the display to
450˚
.
•
Press the START/ENTER keypad.
3.
Listen for the Bake relay to energize (click).
4.
Press the OFF/CANCEL keypad to turn off the BAKE function.
5.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 and check the BROIL and CLEAN functions.
Perform the following steps to calibrate the electronic oven control (see the illustration below).
1.
Press and hold the BAKE keypad for 5-seconds.

is shown in the display.
2.
Pressing the TEMP/TIME keypad Up (
s
) arrow adjusts the temperature in 10˚F increments
in the following sequence: 0˚; 10˚; 20˚; 30˚; –30˚; –20˚; –10˚; 0˚.
3.
Press the START/ENTER keypad to activate the desired temperature adjustment. If the
START/ENTER keypad is not pressed within 5-minutes, the adjustment is ignored.
4.
The bake temperature adjustment cannot result in operating temperatures higher than 500˚F,
or lower than 170˚F, as measured at the center of the oven cavity.
5.
Once the bake temperature has been adjusted, the broil and clean temperatures are
automatically offset by the same degree.
Refer to pages 7, 8, and 9, and remove the components from the control panel.
