Option 3: Target Heart Rate Workout
Notes:
• This option is only effective with the additional purchase of a heart-rate monitor (Polar T31
Transmitter and Belt), which automatically pairs with the Paramill.
• Attach the heart-rate monitor to your body following instructions provided by Polar.
• When you approach the Paramill, it automatically pairs the monitor to the system.
• Check your device if the heart-rate monitor does not display when wearing it.
Note: When using a monitor where there are multiple Paramills side-by-side, some are coded and
others are not so the wearer needs to be right next to their machine for the Paramill to read it.

After selecting the
Target Heart Rate workout and tapping Start (as described in Task 2),
the
Target Heart Rate screen displays
• Tap in the
Target bpm rectangle, and enter your target heart rate using the on-screen
number pad
• Tap in the
Time minutes rectangle, and enter the duration for the workout using the
on-screen number pad
• Tap
Start.

Begin your workout by pushing the wheels forward or backward.

Adjust the resistance “Level Bar” by tapping the
• red
+ sign to increase resistance, or
• blue
– sign to decrease resistance.

• To display either Facebook, YouTube, or TV (if available), go to Task 4: Playing Media.
• To end or pause your workout, go to Task 5: Ending / Pausing the Workout / Saving
Workout Data.
