3.4

Installation

3.4.1

Preparing for the installation

The height of the machine during transport is 2300 mm. Check that there is suffi-
cient room for the machine at the installation location.

•

Check that correct connections are available for water, electricity, drainage

and possibly steam at the installation location. See TECHNICAL SPECIFI-

CATIONS.

•

Check that the overheating protection device on booster heaters and tank

heating elements is reset to zero.

3.4.2

Positioning the machine

Check the following points before the machine is placed in position:

•

Check that the fuse for the machine at the site is off, blocked and that out-

going electrical circuits from the machine are non-live.

•

Remove the protective plastic on the sides which are to be stood against a

wall.

•

Loosen the detergent hose on the back of the machine before putting the

machine against the wall. Hang the hose up in such a way that it is easily

accessible for the detergent supplier.

•

The distance between the wall and machine should be at least 20 mm.

•

If the machine is to be corner-loaded, it must be positioned with the control

panel furthest away from the wall.

Put the machine in position and check that it is horizontal using a spirit level. Ad-
just the height using the machine's legs. 

•

Lateral tilt: Place a spirit level on the body of the machine at the infeed and

outfeed.

•

The machine’s longitudinal direction: Place the spirit level across the body

of the machine.

Once the machine has been filled with water, do another check to make sure the
machine is horizontal.
