Start-Up and Operation
If desired, remove the protection foil from the red surface on the
housing.
Features
With this detector you can precisely locate metal items, live wires in
masonry and wood, as well as beams and studs in drywall. This
function is supplemented by an automatic self-calibrating function. The
detection is displayed by visible and acoustic signals.
Inserting the Battery
ƒ Lightly press on the battery
compartment cover (6) and slide
the cover down.
ƒ Connect a 9 V battery (6LR61) to
the battery clip in the compart-
ment.
ƒ Place the battery in the compart-
ment and close the cover by
sliding back until the cover locks
audibly.
Changing the Battery
When the battery runs low, the signal sound will be weak. In this case
change the battery; otherwise there may be incorrect readings.
Batteries do not belong in household
garbage.
