Operation
Before first Use
1. Please pull the insulating strip out of the battery compartment (A) in
order to get the device ready for operation. If it is not possible, take a
suitable tool, e.g. a small slot screwdriver, and lever the battery
compartment out of the device. The battery compartment also contains
the battery holder.
2. Carefully pull out the insulating strip and put the lid
back on the case. Please note the bevelled edges of
the device while inserting the battery holder. The
contacts on the battery holder must match their
counterparts in the device.
Switching ON and OFF
Use the button EIN/AUS (1) to activate or deactivate the timer switch at
any time. This will not delete the preset programmes.
When you put the timer switch into a plug and push the button EIN/AUS,
the socket is activated and the green control LED (2) lights up. In addition,
the right side of the display shows „ON“ (f). If the socket is not activated,
the right side of the display will show a blinking “OFF”.
Switching ON and OFF the Load
Put the load/the electrical consumer into the socket (D) of the timer switch.
Turn the appliance on. To set the on/off-time of the connected load,
please observe the following chapters.
Setting the Time
In Germany the time is set automatically
within 5 to 10 minutes via the DCF radio
signal. If the DCF radio signal is received, the
radio reception icon (c) is displayed.
1. If needed, you can also set the time manually. The clock mode is
indicated with the icon “Clock” (d) on the display and the colon of the
time is blinking.
