Operation
Random Setting
This timer switch has a random setting which can turn power on and off at
random intervals. With this function you can e.g. pretend to be at home
although you are not really there.
You can choose between two different random settings:
I
. Short
Interval
ON-Time: 20 – 40 minutes
OFF-Time: 40 – 60 minutes
1. To activate the short interval, press the button ZUFALL, if the timer is in
the time mode or the programing mode in programme 1 – 19. On the
lower left side of the display the icon “RND“ is flashing. It indicates that
the random setting at short interval is activated.
2. Turn off the random setting by pressing the button ZUFALL again.
II
. Long
Interval
ON-Time: 40 – 80 Minutes
OFF-Time: 60 – 80 Minutes
1. Press the button PROGRAMM
←
to activate the random setting and to
get to the countdown setting.
2. If you now press the button ZUFALL, “L-RND“ flashes on the display
and the random setting with the long interval is activated.
3. You can turn off the random setting by pressing the button ZUFALL
again.
Note: If the random setting is activated, the corresponding icon is flashing.
All other programmes are not activated while the timer is in the random
setting mode.
Programming the Random Setting
The timer switch has a random generator which can be programmed. You
can set this random generator so it is only active for a certain period of
time.
