Hints
•
If you cannot estimate the current to be expected, always start measuring
in the 20 A range.
•
If the measuring rate is exceeded, the display will show the overload
symbol “1“. In this case set the rotary function switch (3) to the next high-
est measuring range.
4.3 Resistance Measurement

Important Notice!
•
Do not perform resistance measurements on voltage-carrying compo-
nents or circuits.
•
Never connect the probes to a power source when conducting resistance
measurements; this may destroy the unit.
•
To avoid incorrect results, make sure capacitors are discharged before
measurements are taken. This is because resistance measurements are
based on a comparison between a reference voltage and a known refer-
ence resistance value.
