Initial Setup and Operation
Mounting / Aligning
1. You can place the sound indicator flat or upright or attach it to clothing or other
things with the bracket (C5).
2. Additionally, a wall holder (C6) is included. Suitable screws and wall plugs are also
included. The bracket (C5) on the sound indicator can be inserted into the wall
holder (C6) from above.
3. Position the sound indicator in a suitable position in the room you intend to monitor.
If the indicator is mounted outdoors it should be protected from moisture. The loca-
tion should be away from unrelated sources of noise and the microphone (C2)
should point in the direction to be monitored. Make sure the microphone is not cov-
ered in any way.
Start-Up
1. Use the ON/OFF (C3) switch to turn the sound indicator on. There are three set-
tings:
Off
L = Low Sensitivity
H = High Sensitivity
When the indicator is set to low sensitivity, speech or music played at low volume in
a distance will not trigger the signal. Loud calling, banging doors or other sudden,
loud noises will trigger the signal and a transmission to the receiver.
When the indicator is set to high sensitivity, even low noises will trigger the signal
and a transmission to the receiver.
Experiment with the sensitivity settings and determine the setting which best suits
your needs.
2. When the receiver is turned on, it must react on sounds and the signal source indi-
cator
(
is supposed to flash (A6).
