Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
ƒ Dispose of the packaging materials carefully or store it in a safe place. It may
become a deadly toy for small children.
ƒ This wireless signal set operates in a frequency band also used by many other
wireless applications. For this reason, do not use the units for security relevant
applications, such as the supervision of patients in intensive care situations, high-
risk security or supervision of crucial equipment. For such applications special-
ised equipment is available in the marketplace. When using the units for their de-
sired applications, always make sure the units are equipped with fresh batteries
or operated from the power mains.
ƒ Do not expose either unit to dripping of splashing water and do not place items
filled with liquids, such as vases, on either unit.
ƒ Do not cover either unit and do not place objects such as magazines, newspa-
pers, tablecloths, or curtains on the either unit.
ƒ Do not place open flames, such as candles, on or next to either unit.
ƒ
Do not expose the units to excessive temperatures, strong vibrations or high
levels of humidity and avoid strong mechanical stresses.
ƒ Do not mix rechargeable batteries and non-rechargeable Batteries and use only
Batteries of the same type for the receiver.
ƒ If you do not plan to use the units for some time, remove the batteries.
ƒ Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to re-
charge non-rechargeable batteries.
ƒ Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives to clean the units. Use only a lightly
moistened cloth and dry all parts thoroughly before the next use.
ƒ Do not disassemble the units; they do not contain parts serviceable by you. A modi-
fication is not permitted; this would void the operating license for the units.
ƒ In the case of problems or questions please turn to our customer support depart-
ment, do not attempt to repair the units yourself.
