Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions
and damage:
These units are not suitable for use in applications in which life
or health depends on the function of radio equipment.
These units are intended for operation inside the EU and you do not
need to register the units. If you intend to use the units outside the EU,
inform yourself about applying local regulations.
No modifications, such as modification of the antenna or measures to
increase the transmitting power may be undertaken. Otherwise the
units will loose legal approval. In no case the internal calibrations of
the units may be changed.
Do not use the units in explosive environments such as storage areas
for chemicals or explosives, filling stations, fuel installations and the
likes.
Persons with pacemakers should not use the units, as interference of
the pacemaker function may occur.
Do not operate the unit in hospitals or aircraft or close to electronic
equipment, which may suffer from interference with the units.
Do not use the units in areas in which the use of cellular phones or
radio transmitters is forbidden.
The function of hearing aids may be interfered with by the units.
Do not expose the units to direct sunlight, humidity, dirt, high tempera-
ture, strong light or strong magnetic fields.
Do not expose the units to excessive temperatures or strong vibrations
and avoid strong mechanical stresses.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the batteries.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries.
