Do not touch the can lid or the can directly at the cut edges. These can be sharp. When
detaching the lid from the can opener, always ensure that the motor is at a standstill and
that you do not apply pressure to the lid.
Disposal:
Neither the batteries nor the appliance should be disposed of in household waste. Dispose
of these items in an environmentally friendly manner. Take the batteries and the appliance
to a recycling centre. Your local council or administration will inform you about the appro-
priate collection points.
