Operation
When the display is fade, the batteries are spent
and need to be replaced.
Selecting the Temperature Unit
To switch between the temperature unit °C and °F,
press the button
S/S
(4).
Pre-selected Meat Types
Press the button (6) several times to select the
desired meat type.
The order of the display readings is:
BEEF, PORK, FISH, VEAL, LAMB, CHICKEN, TURKEY, HAMBURG, PGM
(PGM = individually adjustable doneness temperature)
The appropriate pre-selected target temperature
appears on the left side of the display as
ALERT TEMP
(7). The current cooking temperature (actual tempera-
ture) appears on the right side of the display as
COOK
TEMP
(3).
Pre-Selected Doneness Levels
Press the button (6) several times to select the
desired doneness level.
The order of the display readings is:
WELL M WELL MEDIUM M RARE RARE
Hint: The meat types Hamburger, turkey, chicken and
fish do not have all doneness settings.
