4. Now open the upper beam (3) and the lower beam (1) by
unscrewing both tommy screws (2). Both springs (5) will lift the
upper beam (3).
5. Now position the sheet metal inside the edge-folding unit.
6. Fasten the tommy screws (2) to keep your sheet-metal in place.
Now pull the levers of the movable folding bar with smooth and
continuous pressure to order to fold the sheet metal.
Hints on Operation
If folding a closed square tub, one tommy screw (2) has to be
removed first in order to withdraw the tub from the edge-folding
unit. To remove the square tub from the edge-folding unit after
removing the tommy screw, lift up the upper beam and take out
the square tub from the unit.
With the edge-folding unit repeat folding procedures can be
done with different distances without the need to remove and re-
insert the sheet material into the unit again.
Sheet material of different thickness can be folded by screwing
or loosening the adjusting screws (4).
Please note the max. material thickness. Do not exceed the
max. capacity of the edge-folding unit as this will damage the
middle part of the edge-folding unit.
Maintenance and Care
The edge-folding unit is maintenance-free.
Keep the edge-folding unit clean. Lubricate the moving parts
from time to time with a few drops of machine oil. Regularly
check the firm fit of all parts.
When not in use, store the edge-folding unit in a dry place.
