3. Important! The machine has to come to a complete stop before the rotating
direction button can be used, otherwise the machine may be damaged.
Inserting the Tool Bits
Important! Always remove the battery before you change the drill or screw bit
to avoid unintentional starting of the machine.
The cordless drill has a keyless drill chuck (3) so no key is required to lock the
tool bit in place. Make sure that the drill or screw bit is not skewed when it is
inserted and the chuck tightened.
1. Before inserting drill or screw bits
open the jaws of the chuck by
holding the lower ring of the
chuck and turn the locking ring
counter clockwise.
2. Open the chuck until you can
insert the tool.
3. Insert the drill/screw bit all the
way in and then, holding the
lower ring, turn the locking ring
clockwise to tighten it.
4. To remove the tool, hold the lower ring of the chuck and turn the locking
ring counter clockwise. Open the chuck until you can remove the tool.
