Charging and Inserting the Battery
Charging the Battery
1. The rechargeable battery (6) must be charged before the first use. Only
recharge the battery once it is has been fully discharged, i.e. the power
clearly decreases. Otherwise the battery may not achieve its full capacity.
2. Important! Only use the provided battery charger for charging.
3. First place the rechargeable battery into the charging slot in the charger
and then connect the charger to the mains.
4. Charging starts automatically. The red indicator lamp turns on.
5. Make sure the battery can be inserted easily and without resistance. Do not
apply force when inserting the battery. While charging, the battery and the
charger become lightly warm.
6. Remove the battery from the charger after approx. 8 hours.
Inserting and Removing the Battery
1. Insert the rechargeable battery into the machine.
Do not apply force when inserting the battery.
Iserting can be achieveed easily and without
resistance.
2. The battery must be inserted completely until the
battery release clips (7) on the sides of the battery
compartment automatically audibly lock into place.
To remove the battery, simultaneously press the
battery release clips and pull out the battery.
Turning ON/OFF
1. Press the On/Off trigger (5) to start the machine. Release the trigger to
switch off the machine. The rotation speed can be varied by pressing the
On/Off trigger. The more the trigger is pressed, the faster the rotation
speed will be.
2. The rotating direction button (4) can only be pressed when the On/Off
trigger (5) has been released. Use the rotating direction button to switch
between clockwise and counter clockwise rotation. With the rotation
direction button in the central position the trigger is locked and cannot be
pressed. Use this position before you put the machine down, to avoid
unintentional starting.
