Start-Up
Before first Use
The 3 in 1 flashlight is supplied with 3 powerful, integrated batteries. Charge
those batteries before first use or in case the flashlight has not been used for a
longer period of time. Connect a charger (not included) to charge the batteries for
8-10 hours.
Charging the Batteries
The 3 in 1 flashlight can be recharged by 2 different methods:
Operation via hand crank
: Unfold the hand
crank (2) and turn it continuously in order to
charge the batteries of the flashlight. The
charging LED (3) lights up and indicates the
charging process. It does not matter if one
turns clockwise or counter clockwise.
Operation via Charger
: Remove the rubber
cover from the DC connector (7) for the
charger. Connect a suitable charger with 6 V
DC current to the DC connector. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the
plug. The polarity is printed above the DC connector. The charging LED (3)
lights up during the charging process.
Use the Westfalia universal power supply for example, Art. no. 39 28 94.
Caution:
Using a charger it will take approx. 4 – 5 hours to fully charge the batteries.
Do not operate or charge the flashlight for a time period longer than 10 hours
via the charger. This can lead to damage to the batteries.
